When people feel welcome at church, they’ll naturally want to stay.

The Savior invites all to receive His gospel and prepare for eternal life (see Alma 5:33–34). As His disciples, we follow His example, inviting all to “come unto Christ, and be perfected in him” (Moroni 10:32).

Joining the Church is both wonderful and challenging. Each new member needs friendship, opportunities to serve, and spiritual nourishment. We need to give new members our love and support (see Mosiah 18:8–10)—helping them to feel a sense of belonging in the Church.
